With effect from 1 Apr 2008, patients would be able to utilize up to $600 from Medisave per calendar year per patient for his/her outpatient MRI, CT scans and diagnostics related to cancer treatment.However, the use of Medisave for outpatient MRI, CT scans and diagnostics would only be allowed for certified cancer patients.
