CT Coronary Angiogram (CTA) has become a good non-invasive alternative for imaging the coronary arteries in an increasing number of patients. RadLink operates the Siemens 64-slice CT scanner for CTA.

CTA allows direct visualisation of the coronary artery wall with the administration of intravenous contrast. CTA also has less radiation compared to conventional coronary catherisation angiography. Calcified and soft plaques can be visualised together with the degree of coronary luminal stenosis. CTA is also helpful in low to intermediate risk patients with sub-acute and/or chronic chest pain syndromes.
