Your health is one of your most valuable assets, and breast screening plays a key role in protecting it. Screening is not only about finding problems early, it is about peace of mind and empowering women to take charge of their well-being.
At RadLink, we understand that every woman deserves a supportive and comfortable environment when it comes to health checks. That is why our dedicated Women’s Imaging Centre at Paragon Orchard was designed with patients in mind. From private, welcoming spaces to the latest imaging technology, our centre offers a seamless and reassuring experience at the heart of Orchard.

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, but when found early, it is highly treatable. Screening allows doctors to detect small changes in the breast before they can be felt or cause symptoms.
The benefits of early detection include:
We’re committed to providing an exceptional experience at every step, from the moment you walk in to the time you leave.
When you visit our centre, you can expect:
Dr Cheryl leads our breast imaging services at Paragon. She is a fellowship-trained radiologist who specialises in mammography, breast ultrasound, and MRI breast imaging.
Having worked with women across different age groups and health backgrounds, she understands that screening is as much about reassurance as it is about accuracy.

Q: At what age should I begin breast screening?
For most women, we recommend starting annual mammograms from age 40. Those with a family history of breast cancer may need to start earlier.
Q: Does a mammogram hurt?
Some women describe it as firm pressure for a few seconds. We do everything possible to make it as comfortable as we can.
Q: What if something unusual is found?
Many findings are harmless. If further tests are needed, we will explain every step and ensure you have the right support.
Q: What is the difference between a mammogram and an ultrasound?
Mammograms are excellent for detecting small changes. Ultrasounds are helpful in women with denser breast tissue. Together, they provide a more complete assessment.
Q: How often should I be screened?
Women over 40 should ideally have a mammogram every year. For younger women with risk factors, a personalised plan is best.
Know Your Body: Be familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel.
Stay Active: Regular exercise supports hormonal balance and overall health.
Eat Well: A balanced diet with fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats is beneficial.
Reduce Alcohol: Even small reductions can help lower risk.
Make it Routine: Think of your breast
